What’s the difference between SCADA and remote tank monitoring?

SCADA is a full supervisory stack—often PLC/RTU plus host/HMI—that can monitor and control. Remote tank and pressure monitors typically deliver scheduled sensor reads, history, and alerts without remote control loops. One changes the process; the other tells you what’s happening between visits.
